HR Advisor - Local Authority

Location: GL1 2TG (Hybrid working - 2-3 days per week office-based)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled HR Advisor to join our Pay, Policy, and Reward Team. In this dynamic role, you will provide vital support in areas such as policy review, equality impact assessments, and job evaluation processes. You will also play a key role in ensuring our organisation is prepared for upcoming legislative changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the review and development of HR policies and processes, with a focus on pay, policy, and reward.
  • Support the job evaluation policy and process, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
  • Prepare the team and wider organisation for upcoming legislative changes affecting pay and employment policies.

About You:

  • CIPD Level 7 qualified (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in pay, policy, and reward roles.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, particularly in policy development and legislation.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a passion for ensuring fairness and compliance.
