HR Advisor

Location: Gloucestershire

Are you an HR Advisor or HR Generalist looking for a new role? I am delighted to partner with an ambitious, fast-paced engineering organisation in Gloucestershire to recruit a permanent HR Advisor.

Working closely with and supporting the Head of HR, you will provide a first-class HR service to employees and managers globally, providing support across all areas of the employee lifecycle.

Core responsibilities include:

  • First point of contact on any employee relations queries and advice
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on diverse and complex employee related matters.
  • Aid in the management of on-boarding and off-boarding processes, including but not limited to preparation of contracts, managing probation, coordination of pre-employment screening and exit interviews.
  • Leadership support and training around performance and absence management.
  • Ensure that all processes and policies currently in place are 'fit for purpose' in line with best practice standards and updating relevant policies as a result of employment law changes.

To be considered for this role you must have strong UK employment law knowledge with an appetite and desire to get involved in international HR support, supporting employees globally. You are happy working independently and are an HR generalist, comfortable managing HR administration. Above all you need to have proven experience working in a changing, fast paced environment.

Salary on offer is up to £40,000, and as this is a busy manufacturing site you are required to work on-site 4 - 5 days per week. You'll work with an exceptional Head of HR, who will support your development, growth and career progression.
