HR Officer required for a FTC of up to 12 months paying up to £40k pa DOE. 37.5 hours working week, Monday to Friday

Our client is looking for an HR Officer to work under the HR Manager for a period of between 6 - 12 months. This role will require you to be based in the office 5 days a week in order that you can react to situations and answer queries as they arise.

This is a all round role which will involve the full scope of an HR persons duties such as:

  • interpreting and advising on day-to-day employment law concerns
  • supporting department managers with regards to salaries, redundancies, etc
  • supporting department managers to ensure that company employment policies adhere to UK laws & regulations
  • assisting with the recruitment and on boarding of new employees
  • ensuring communication is handled sensitively with regards to salary, pension & benefits
  • helping to develop programmes that enhance employee relations
  • dealing with grievances & implementing disciplinary procedures
  • organise, attend and take minutes of meetings

The successful HR Officer will need to have the following skills/experience for their application to be successful:

  • Qualified to Level 3 - CIPD
  • Previous working experience within generalist HR role
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment law
