Power BI Developer (Must have D365 AX/F&O experience)Hybrid - A couple days on site in Gloucester per week£50,000 per annumInterviews available from Monday 18th NovemberA Client of mine who's an End-User has reached out and they are seeking a Power BI Developer/Analyst with strong D365 F&O/AX knowledge/understanding to join their internal team.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting business intelligence solutions using Power BI. This role involves collaborating closely with business users to understand their needs and transform them into actionable reports and insights.Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather and understand their requirements, translating them into effective BI solutions.
  • Develop, maintain, and support Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring adherence to governance standards.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders and team members to deliver robust and reliable BI solutions.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in Power BI and related technologies, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Provide training and support to enable self-service reporting, empowering users to create their own solutions where appropriate.
Key Skills
  • Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O/AX)
  • Strong expertise in Power BI, including DAX and Row-Level Security (RLS).
  • Proven experience working with data modelling and reporting in Power BI.
  • Experience with ETL processes.
  • Experience with Azure Analysis Services.
Personal Attributes
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences (small and medium sized)
  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into meaningful BI reports.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, balancing the demands of project work and ongoing support.
