- Collaborate with the Trust IT team to support and develop IT services.
- Act as a point of escalation for junior colleagues and share knowledge.
- Oversee own workload, delegating tasks as needed.
- Participate in performance reviews and support continuous development.
- Assist in testing and coordinating disaster recovery and cyber security measures.
- Implement and improve IT Service Desk processes, ensuring effective support for all stakeholders.
- Provide 3rd line support, acting as an escalation point for complex incidents.
- Maintain compliance with ITSM through ITIL methodology.
- Support stakeholders' access to required IT resources.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets and assignments.
- Procure hardware and software in line with procurement policies.
- Collaborate with contractors for infrastructure projects and follow health and safety guidelines.
- Develop and deliver training materials, sessions, and support for stakeholders.
- Participate in internal training and recommend additional training needs for the team.
- Assist in developing IT security policies and maintaining network security.
- Document and manage network infrastructure, including SD-WAN and firewall systems.
- Work with the IT Network and Support Manager to design secure systems in line with the Trust's IT Strategy.
- Contribute to Trust-wide IT policies and processes.
- Stay informed on technology developments in the education sector and advise on potential benefits.
- Support smooth IT operations across the Trust.
- Uphold the Trust’s vision, values, and commitment to equality, safeguarding, and Health & Safety.
- Support audit processes and participate in personal and professional development reviews.
- Must be within a commutable distance for on-site attendance during remote working days in the event of major incidents.
- Maintain a professional approach at all times.
