Technical Support EngineerGloucester£33,000 - £44,000 DoEMy client, an international provider of advanced Telecommunications solutions, is seeking two Technical Support Engineers to join their exciting and growing team. Supporting customers via face-to-face, phone and email, they are looking for a positive, hardworking candidate who is willing to keep on top of modern communication technologies.Requirements

  • Knowledge with at least two of the following - PDH/SDH, GPON, Cellular/Wireless and LTE, IP Networks/Infrastructure.
  • Familiar with the range of test equipment including optical power meters and light sources, BERTs, cellular scanners and mustimeters.
  • Experienced in fault finding methodology.
  • Experience with remote management platforms.
  • Telecommunications related courses/qualifications.

  • Comfortable engaging with both customers and suppliers.
  • Ability to work part of a team or autonomously.
  • A good worth ethic with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
