ROLE Quality Manager
LOCATION Gloucestershire
SALARY - £45,000 - £60,000 per annum

Im currently working with a manufacturing company, committed to delivering high-quality products and continuous improvement. With a strong reputation for excellence, we are seeking a proactive Quality Manager to drive quality assurance, compliance, and process improvement across our operations.

Role Overview:

As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. You will lead the quality team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and/or other relevant industry standards.
  • Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Implement and drive quality improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lean methodologies.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and process validation activities to ensure quality is built into all stages of production.
  • Work closely with suppliers to maintain high-quality standards and drive supplier performance improvements.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Quality Manager or senior quality professional within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, auditing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, PPAP, SPC, RCA, and 8D problem-solving.
Desirable:
  • Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or equivalent).
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry such as automotive, aerospace, or medical devices.
  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
