- Oversee and ensure the optimal performance, availability, and reliability of business applications.
- Monitor system performance and collaborate with vendors to manage updates and resolve issues.
- Support the starters/leavers process by creating/deleting users and managing the Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) system.
- Ensure data integrity and assist with the creation of BI dashboards and reports.
- Provide end-user support for system-related issues, working closely with IT support and external vendors.
- Develop system documentation and user guides, and train users on best practices.
- Manage system updates, security protocols, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and project management to configure applications and ensure they align with user needs and strategic goals.
- Minimum of A-level education (or equivalent), ideally with professional certification in IT-related fields.
- At least 2 years of experience in systems administration, with a focus on business-critical applications.
- Proficient in enterprise software applications, database management (SQL), and troubleshooting business systems.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and basic network management.
- Strong understanding of information security and data protection regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative team player, able to work effectively under pressure and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
