My client is looking for a proactive, personable IT Field Technician to become a visible and valued part of IT Services team. Job Responsibilities

Be the go-to person on-site for all things IT - from fixing devices to setting up AV and supporting classroom tech.

Perform regular proactive health checks to keep our systems in great shape.

Collaborate with the central IT team to escalate more complex issues and contribute to process improvement.

Build relationships with school staff to ensure IT is always a help, never a hindrance.

Keep meticulous records of IT assets and assist with lifecycle management.
Experience Required
You’re likely already in a 1st Line or on-site support role and are ready for more ownership, mobility, and interaction. You’ll need:

A driving licence and your own transport - this is a field-based role.

Solid knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Office 365, and device troubleshooting.

A friendly, professional manner and the ability to communicate technical info to non-technical users.

A keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a drive to keep improving.
Bonus points for:

Experience in an educational setting or supporting cloud technologies.

MCP or ITIL qualifications.
