This company are an exciting and supportive family run business with an excellent reputation within the Tech and Telecoms industry. They are now looking for an IT Technician to join the team at their Gloucester office. In this role you will act as the first point of contact to overcome technical issues, troubleshoot and ensure solutions. You will help new starters with their equipment setup, support with hardware and software and maintain IT documentation. The ideal candidate will be a confident IT Technician/ IT Support Engineer with strong skills in Office 365 and related applications, troubleshooting skills, windows operating systems, software and hardware. You will also need to be a good communicator and have fluency in English. You will need to have lived and worked in the UK for a minimum of 5 years due to SC clearance. The Role:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and ensure effective solutions for technical problems.
  • Assist new employees with equipment setup and onboarding.
  • Provide support for hardware and software needs.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation regularly.

  • Confident IT Technician/IT Support Engineer with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient in Office 365 and related applications.
  • Skilled in Windows operating systems, software, and hardware support.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Must have lived and worked in the UK for at least 5 years (required for SC clearance).
