Delighted to be supporting and representing my client who are recognised as the leading international provider of advanced Telecommunications solutions for mission and business critical networks.We are looking for a highly motivated Junior IT Technician to join the existing IT Team within a fast-paced environment. The person will form an important and integral part of an forever-expanding business!

Role responsibilities include:

  • Technical Support: After training, act as the first point of contact for technical issues, providing swift troubleshooting and efficient solutions.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Ensure smooth IT setups for new starters and manage seamless offboarding processes.
  • Employee Support: Assist with technology challenges, hardware/software upgrades, and office equipment replacements.
  • IT Documentation: Maintain and improve IT records, track tasks using a ticketing system, and develop user-friendly guides and troubleshooting documents.
  • Team Collaboration: Work on exciting projects and contribute to initiatives led by the IT Manager.
  • Daily Operations: Play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly.

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong IT skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and fluency in English.
  • Logical problem-solving and a calm approach to technical challenges.
  • Time management skills with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and ENTRA/Intune.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment (e.g., switches and servers).
  • Familiarity with network fundamentals
  • Experience with permissions management, administration, and Active Directory
  • Knowledge of servers is advantageous
  • All applicants must be eligible for UKSC & NPPV3 clearances. (you must have lived in the UK for 5 or more years)
