Test Analyst

£45,000 and excellent benefits

Gloucester / Hybrid (x2 days a week)

A new opportunity has arrived for a Test Analyst to join a leading insurance company based in the Gloucester area. We are looking for a Test Analyst who is has a deep understanding of the software testing life cycle from unit testing to UAT.

Experience

  • Proven experience in testing, executing test cases, test tools and test suites.
  • Creation of test scripts and test cases.
  • Checking specifications and the development of test plans.
  • 5+ years testing experience in financial services environments.

Responsibilities

  • Creating, executing, and maintaining manual test cases, ensuring traceability to business needs.
  • Tracking and managing defects, including logging, raising, and triaging issues.
  • Conducting review meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Transformation, Test Lead, Development Lead, and Project Managers.
  • Performing usability and device testing as needed.
  • Carrying out regression testing on previously developed features and functionalities.
  • Reviewing supplier release notes for completeness and aligning testing with release content.
  • Providing feedback to enhance testing processes and improve overall efficiency.
