- Act as the primary point of contact between the IT department and various business units, fostering strong relationships and understanding business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective IT solutions that drive operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain IT roadmaps in line with the organisation's strategic objectives and digital transformation agenda.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure the timely delivery of IT projects and initiatives.
- Provide expert advice on best practices and emerging technologies that can benefit the organisation.
- Lead change management efforts, ensuring a smooth transition for users as new technologies are implemented.
- Proven experience in an IT Business Partner or similar role.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation, IT strategy, and service delivery.
- Ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, and influence decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between IT and business functions.
- Experience managing IT projects and supporting change management processes.
- Knowledge of public sector procurement processes and governance is advantageous.
- Experience within Housing, Construction or Social Care would be advantageous but not essential.
