We have an exciting opportunity for a leading public sector body in a newly created role to drive their digital transformation initiatives across the business. Working closely with unit leaders and IT to implement and identify the best solutions for their users.Significant career progression opportunities as they continue to build out their internal teams. Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the IT department and various business units, fostering strong relationships and understanding business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective IT solutions that drive operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain IT roadmaps in line with the organisation's strategic objectives and digital transformation agenda.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure the timely delivery of IT projects and initiatives.
  • Provide expert advice on best practices and emerging technologies that can benefit the organisation.
  • Lead change management efforts, ensuring a smooth transition for users as new technologies are implemented.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in an IT Business Partner or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation, IT strategy, and service delivery.
  • Ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, and influence decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between IT and business functions.
  • Experience managing IT projects and supporting change management processes.
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement processes and governance is advantageous.
  • Experience within Housing, Construction or Social Care would be advantageous but not essential.
