Job Title: Senior Solar PV CAD Designer
Location: Gloucester
Pay Range/details: £37,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Omega are supporting the one of the largest electrical and solar installers in the UK in their search for a Solar PV CAD Designer to support the design team, ensuring our installers and clients have access to accurate Solar designs.
Key Responsibilities – Senior Solar PV CAD Designer
- Overseeing a minimum team of two (CAD designer and Design Administrator).
- Providing technical CAD support to other members of the team.
- Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and design briefs.
- Building and maintaining client relationships.
- Managing multiple projects and assigning projects to designers.
- Reviewing designs prior to issuing for installation.
- Ensuring projects are prioritised to meet tight deadlines.
- Creating solar PV designs using AutoCAD as and when needed.
Qualifications & Requirements – Senior Solar PV CAD Designer
- Experience supervising a small team.
- Minimum of 2 years' AutoCAD experience.
- PVSol or equivalent would be advantageous but not essential.
- Electrical/Solar PV knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.
- Organised and the ability to prioritise several projects.
