Engineering Production Manager - Gloucestershire

We are currently looking for an Engineering Production Manager to join a long established manufacturer in the Gloucester area. They supply into many well known manufacturers across the world, specifically food manufacturers, offshore engineering and industrial manufacturing companies. Their bespoke manufacturing makes them the fastest growing in their division, meaning a fruitful future for the company and plenty of progression opportunities.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Man management of shop floor staff - production, quality & operators.
  • Managing all health and safety on site, regulations and compliance.
  • Dealing with non-conformances, quality issues and resolutions.
  • Staff training and development regularly.
  • Managing the manufacturing management systems for improvement.
  • Dealing with purchasing, stock control & budgets.
  • Managing logistics with deliveries, audits, contract reviews.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree (Min HND)
  • CNC experience
  • Experience within manufacturing/engineering industries
  • Ideally 5+ years within production/engineering management.
  • Experience with business finances.
  • Experience with compliance and implementation.
  • Managing HR issues and H&S.
