Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that assemblies are manufactured accurately and on time. Your key responsibilities will include:

Fitting and assembling machine parts according to engineering drawings.
Utilising hand tools and power tools to fit components.
Operating drilling and deburring tools safely.
Ensuring all torque requirements are met and documented.
Installing pneumatic and water circuits using copper or plastic pipework.
Preparing machines for painting and despatch.
Travelling overseas for machine installations as needed.
Adhering to safe working practises and promptly reporting any issues.
Participating in process improvement initiatives and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Proven ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Basic computer literacy
Flexibility to travel abroad as required

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Ability to read pneumatics drawings
Completed Mechanical Apprenticeship

Technologies:

Hand tools, power tools, engineering measuring equipment
Pillar drills, deburring tools, grinding wheels
