Reed Cheltenham are seeking a detail-oriented, organised, and proactive Sales Administrator to join our local client. This role is crucial in supporting both sales and purchasing activities and offers a great opportunity to make a significant impact within our clients successful business. Reporting directly to the Administration Manager, this position is based in the vibrant city of Gloucester.

Day-to-day of the role:

Sales Support:

  • Process customer orders with precision, ensuring accurate delivery information, price checks, and timely order acknowledgements.
  • Convert quotations into confirmed orders.
  • Manage key customer accounts, understanding their needs and delivering exceptional sales service.
  • Oversee eBay listings and sales, ensuring competitive pricing and prompt order processing.
  • Update outstanding sales orders, liaising with suppliers for delivery updates and informing relevant customer accounts.
  • Scan and attach delivery notes to current sales orders, providing proof of delivery to customers.
  • Maintain and update customer contacts on our CRM system.
  • Prepare correct paperwork for pallet collections for overseas customers.

Purchasing Support:

  • Verify supplier order acknowledgments, update prices and delivery dates, and communicate any changes to colleagues.
  • Source products from suppliers, request prices, and place orders both online and via our warehouse management system.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Admin Manager in reviewing the warehouse management system.
  • Support the accounts team with printing invoices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience in sales administration or a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
