Core3 are delighted to recruit a rare Head of FP&A opportunity with an acquisitive PE backed organisation in Gloucestershire. £80,000-£100,000 plus 20% bonus.

How you'll make an impact

The Head of FP&A is responsible for overseeing all planning and business partnering functions within the finance team. This role ensures that the necessary systems, processes, and controls are in place to maintain robust plans and forecasts. Additionally, it ensures that key performance indicators (KPIs) are effectively used to measure performance, while providing support and constructive challenge to business decision-makers regarding the financial implications of their choices.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for all FP&A activities to deliver robust planning and support decision making.
  • Oversee and drive timely and robust budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure a robust and data driven approach to understanding margin performance that drives business action
  • Drive the continual evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives, including tracking progress against business cases and plans.
  • Ensure decision makers are supported and challenged to ensure understanding of key performance drivers is communicated
  • Proactively support business teams & decision makers through a finance business partnering structure.
  • Build a strong network of external peers and specialist advisors to bring "outside in" thinking to the way the finance department adds value.
  • Support capital raising and refinancing processes.
  • Leading the FP&A function, inspiring a multi-functional team of UK professionals to deliver exceptional partnership support to the business.
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement to ensure effective support to changing business needs.
  • Oversee weekly flash process
  • Utilize business systems to automate FP&A processes
  • Full line management of the FP&A Analysts across the team
