We are looking for a dedicated Paint Mixer professional to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is looking for stable, long-term employment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Perform precise mixing procedures for joinery coatings and stains, ensuring all formulations and colour matching meet the highest standards.
  • Maintain and update colour recipes, libraries, and samples.
  • Assist in the planning, organising, coordinating, and controlling the dispatch of finished goods.
  • Conduct thorough quality control checks to ensure all products are free from defects.
  • Manage stock control of colourants and special pigments, maintaining a clean and organised mixing and laboratory area.
  • Test coated samples and prepare them for client presentations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, utilising required safety equipment and overseeing the disposal of waste.
  • Maintain tinting and lab equipment daily.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Exceptional colour perception – essential.
  • Strong attention to detail in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Previous experience in spraying or handling coatings – essential.
  • Relevant qualifications such as BTEC, NVQ, or City & Guilds are preferred.
  • Full UK driving licence.
