Our client who are a forward-thinking, leading law firm with clients nationwide are currently recruiting for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join their successful Private Family Law Department on a permanent basis from their Gloucester office.

Working with the Head of Department, you will have support and supervision from the department’s paralegal and secretary however, you must be able to hit the ground running and be able to handle your own caseload.

Your role will involve but will not be limited to meeting with clients, taking instructions, providing preliminary advice, drafting documents and attending court as required (with or without Counsel).

Candidate Attributes:

-Background in family law with experience of Divorce, Children Act, Cohabitee disputes and Pre/Post-Nuptial Agreement

-Excellent telephone manner with strong communication skills

-Strong organisational and IT skills

-Self motivated

-Ability to deal with sensitive issues compassionately and professionally.

Hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Salary: Highly competitive and negotiable depending on experience + bonus scheme
