My client is seeking a Supply Planner to join their Commercial Operations team. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy of the supply plan, managing channel and warehouse stock levels to meet demand, and maximising sales. The ideal candidate will have a background in FMCG, experience with Supply Planning and SAP, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the Supply Planning process as part of the overall Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle.
  • Generate reports and prepare materials for Site and Divisional SRMs, facilitating these meetings to address supply, haulier, and logistics constraints or opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Demand Planner to manage supply constraints and deliver optimal outcomes.
  • Engage in weekly meetings with the Commercial Manager to review KPIs and discuss supply constraints or opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and complete IBP master data, manage day-to-day queries from internal and external customers, and provide solutions.
  • Raise Purchase Orders in SAP ECC, review Brand Owners’ forecasts, and manage stock issues related to product shelf life.
  • Monitor stock levels against inventory targets and manage KPIs, identifying actions for performance improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and advanced competency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experienced in using SAP ECC.
  • An understanding of S&OP or IBP cycle
  • Ability to resolve issues effectively and collaborate with stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Capable of prioritising workload to deliver key tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, comfortable dealing with external Brand owners and internal teams.
  • Preferably with an FMCG background in Demand Planning or Supply Chain.
  • A drive to succeed self-motivation
