Our Client based in Gloucester are looking for a detail-oriented Maintenance Co-ordinator / Maintenance Planner to join their dynamic team within the manufacturing industry. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and managing maintenance strategies that ensure their manufacturing equipment operates at peak efficiency.

  • Plan & schedule preventative maintenance activities
  • Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure efficient execution of tasks
  • Analyse equipment performance and recommend improvements
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators for site wide maintenance
  • Assist with the budgeting process for the department
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers
  • Manage and oversee all activities related to engineering stores operations
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy
  • Collaborate with engineering team to determine material needs and forecast demand

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of maintenance processes and methodologies within Manufacturing. You will collaborate closely with the operations and engineering teams to prioritise and schedule maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment is maintained to operational specifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering stores operations, ensuring that all engineering materials and equipment are properly managed, stored, and readily available to support the manufacturing processes.

Previous Manufacturing or Engineering is a must for this role.
