The business serves a range of clients, including mechanical and electrical contractors, civil engineers, and utilities, both domestically and internationally. They are on the look-out for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their business on a full-time permanent basis where you will be responsible for optimising and enhancing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production operations.Key Responsibilities as a Manufacturing Engineer:                          
  • Identify and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Provide hands-on technical support to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Develop strategies to reduce waste and improve productivity and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Quality team to maintain and enhance standards and metrics.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by working with Design teams from concept through to production.
  • Specify, design, and implement tools and equipment that improve efficiency and safety.
Knowledge and skills as a Manufacturing Engineer:
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or production engineering environment.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks; experience with PDM and ERP systems.
