Your new companyYou will be working for a manufacturing business with a site based in Gloucester. The company is looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer who has experience in working in a manufacturing environment to join their team. The role works on a 4 weekly shift rotation of 4 on 4 off, 2 day shifts followed by 2 nights followed by 4 days off.Your new roleYou will play a pivotal role in supporting the Maintenance team and function where you will support the smooth production of the manufacturing site by delivering on both planned maintenance and reactive maintenance. You will carry out a wide range of activities including electrical, instrumentation and mechanical work. You will also ensure reliability across the site's equipment, fault find and diagnostics. What you'll need to succeedTo succeed, you will need to have successfully completed an electrical/instrumentation apprenticeship.

  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work proficently in a team as well as independently
  • Ability to effectively plan and prioritise your work in a busy environment
  • Experience of working with CMMS, computer-based planning systems
