This role involves working on a variety of installation projects across the country, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities- Carry out on-site installations as part of a skilled team.
- Work closely with customers to ensure materials are stored correctly and installation areas are prepared.
- Oversee the installation of custom components, ensuring work is completed safely and in line with specifications.
- Conduct site assessments and ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues on-site.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other engineers and technicians.
- Perform quality checks to ensure all installations meet operational and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including reports and safety checklists.
- Train other staff members on installation procedures where required.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Proven experience as a Site Installation Engineer or in a similar field.
- Strong knowledge of installation processes, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Willingness to travel to various installation sites.
- Valid UK driver’s license (training and certifications for specific machinery/equipment will be provided).
- Experience working with stainless steel, aluminium, and other metals.
- Competence in using hand tools (e.g., drills, grinders) for installations.
- Overnight allowances for work requiring stays away from home.
- Comprehensive training to enhance skills and career progression.
- Company vehicle (van) for eventual use.
- Paid door-to-door travel for on-site work.
- Regular team outings and social events.
