A rapidly expanding company in Gloucester are seeking an Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee existing contracts and help support the electrical department's growth.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Oversee various contracts, primarily in the Social Housing sector, while also managing projects within the domestic and commercial sectors.
  • Managing a variety of projects with a focus on quality, health, and safety compliance
  • Lead and inspire a team of engineers, supervisors, and administration staff
  • Build positive relationships with client and contractors
  • Ensuring contracts are accurately documented, providing monthly reporting
  • Overseeing monthly financial reporting whilst controlling costs
  • Supporting the team’s NICEIC membership

Key skills/person requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3, AM2, and City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent)
  • Proven leadership in managing engineers and supervisors
  • Strong grasp of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Commercial awareness and familiarity with various contract conditions

My client is offering an annual salary of £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
