An award winning Five star builder have a requirement for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join their build team for new build development in Gloucester. The company deliver high quality homes across the Midlands and the company pride themselves in their commitment to building quality, high specification homes.

Duties

  • Working closely with the Site Manager, you will assist with the full construction operation including the control and organisation of labour and sub-contractors, Health & Safety, Preparing for Site Inspections, programming site activities, dealing with customer care defects.
  • Help to ensure the site operates within safety, regulatory and legislative standard
  • Ensure that all inductions are carried out correctly (including RA/MS, are signed and understood), recorded on time in the absence of/or as directed by the Site Manager
  • Assist the Site Manager with the effective monitoring and management of build plans, meeting customers, quality and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working on new build housing developments delivering quality homes
  • Experience dealing with customer care defects
  • Significant knowledge and experience in health and safety requirements and standards
  • Trade background and good eye for detail
  • CSCS Card, First Aid, SSSTS/SMSTS
