My client is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their team to lead the maintenance function on site providing reactive and proactive multi skilled services across all operational equipment and facilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join a group of 7 fantastic engineers (electricians and mechanical fitters) and take them to the next level.

Maintenance Manager

Bentham (LA2)

Salary DOE £40,000 - £55,000, 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays, Life Insurance 4x salary, pension scheme.

37.5 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 8am-4.30pm and Friday 8am – 1.30pm)

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Planning scheduled maintenance programmes.
  • Minimising down time in production.
  • Ensuring HSE requirements are met.
  • Implement and manage continuous improvements by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes.
  • Develop existing PM schedules to avoid production downtime, monitor performance against targets and report to Factory Manager.
  • Manage to plant and equipment installations.
  • Manage maintenance logging systems maintaining agreed KPIs.
  • Provide technical support to team.
  • Manage and motivate team to meet agreed objectives and deliver best practice results.
  • Report on targets and identify any actions required.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide input for maintenance budgets as agreed with Factory Manager.
  • Liaise with other departments, suppliers and service providers.

To apply you MUST have or hold:

  • Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree preferred, or HND, NVQ level 5.
  • Extensive plant experience within man management experience.
  • Completed full apprenticeships with mechanical/electrical/electrical disciplines.
  • Understanding of IOSH/NEBOSH, ISO 14001
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office – power point/Excel.
  • Experience in managing cost centre responsibilities for maintenance.
