We're looking to revolutionise what we do, and to optimise and automate throughout our product pipeline. As our new Manufacturing Engineer you'll be hiring and leading a team of 52 supervisors and manufacturing/assembly operators to execute this large-scale vision piece, from the deployment of automated super hubs, to designing developing and manufacturing AGV solutions to completely revolutionise our existing logistics systems.This truly is a key role for us - it influences the entire project roadmap - so we'll be looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with strong credentials. You should have:* Experience in manufacturing and assembly lines, maximising up time availability and optimising flow (deep understanding of a range of lean manufacturing principles essential)* Proven track record of bringing tangible performance improvements through creating plans, introducing/managing process improvement initiatives* Ability to create buy-in, and influence stakeholders at all levels across the business* Experience across the full spectrum of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People and the Environment* A passion for developing people and driving change: o being able to effectively implement strategy and ideas while building a culture of can-do without fear of failure in order to inspire people to generate ideas and identify improvement opportunities will be absolutely critical for this role. o People management skills are an absolute priority, and getting the best out of your team in a positive way should be the cornerstone of how you operate.This is a unique opportunity for the right person to put their stamp on the UK operation of a household name.
