Job description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Ecommerce Assistant in Gloucestershire.
The Ecommerce Assistant will be responsible for managing customer service, communication, sales activities, and ensuring a positive customer experience on our ecommerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with creating, uploading and updating product listings, descriptions, images, and prices on the ecommerce platform.
- Update the ecommerce system with new products, pricing changes, and discontinued items. Ensure product availability by monitoring stock levels and liaising with suppliers or inventory management teams.
- Optimise product pages for SEO, ensuring high search visibility.
- Assist the Operations Team with handling customer inquiries, complaints, and returns through various channels.
- Support marketing campaigns by setting up and monitoring promotional offers, discounts, and coupons.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure high-quality visuals and product descriptions are in place. Desirable Qualities:
- Experience with photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) to assist with product image updates.
- Passion for ecommerce
- Knowledge of digital marketing practices, including PPC.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle pressure in a fast paced environment.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
