Our client based in Gloucester is looking for creative and passionate marketing associate on fixed term contact for (12 months) , successful candidate will play an essential role in supporting both the Marketing and Sales teams with a variety of tasks, especially as they tackle busy schedule of digital, social media, and PR initiatives. Your collaboration with multiple teams will involve writing marketing content for both digital and printed materials. Plus, you'll take charge of organizing the company's internal and external events.

As the go-to person for internal communications and client requests, you’ll make sure everything aligns with our brand and is communicated well throughout the business. You'll also team up with the creative agency to enhance our brand campaigns both internally and externally.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Source, produce, and plan captivating content for client, ensuring everything from news articles to website updates and social media posts is fresh, relevant, and carries the right tone of voice.
- Write engaging, SEO-friendly content in various formats to boost the company’s organic reach.
- Keep marketing documentation and databases organized and up to date.
- Create assets as needed for our OEM customers.
- Schedule content across websites, social media, and email according to individual campaign strategies.
- Handle copywriting for a variety of materials, including social media posts, PR articles, event descriptions, and press releases.
- Participate in team brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for content, brand initiatives, and campaigns.
- Brief and create content for a client three times a year.
- Understand the significance of timing and audience in communication, adjusting your approach as needed.
- Present findings clearly, translating data into easily understandable documents while communicating complex ideas simply.
- Build strong relationships across the business to share best practices, updates, and insights.
- While this role doesn’t involve direct reports, you'll manage contributors and working groups.
- Although there’s no overall budget responsibility, you’ll be expected to plan budgets for activities and asset creation.

Skills & experience sought:

- Skilled at handling a diverse range of products, with a good grasp of lead generation strategies.
- Experience crafting captivating content, whether it's long or short.
- Capable of managing social media channels and creating engaging content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Creative with a keen sense of commercial awareness.
- Knowledgeable about channel management practices.
