Futures are excited to be partnering with a fast-growing International homeware business. This business has achieved expectational YoY growth and has a current turnover of £35m+. They are well-known in the homeware space for their premium and innovative product portfolio with a great reputation in the D2C and retail market.

Due to growth, they are expanding and hiring for a new role, Marketing Coordinator.

You will be working within a newly created arm of the business, assisting the Sales and Marketing team to open business within a new market. Day-to-day you will create marketing content for outbound and inbound campaigns, leading on trade marketing initiatives and projects to drive new business and growth. You will coordinate product proposals, working alongside the Product team to develop be-spoke product ranges for customers. Alongside the above, you will oversee marketing activities for existing customers, creating exciting marketing content with a focus on email marketing, SEO and PR.

Key Responsibilities of a Marketing Coordinator:

  • Develop and implement marketing plans that align with overall business objectives and drive brand visibility in key retail channels.

  • Managing individual projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth communication with all stakeholders.

  • Creating engaging presentations that introduce the brand and product proposals.

  • Meeting regularly with the product team to ensure project samples are on track and relay client insights.

  • Attending trade shows, engaging with potential and existing clients and gathering valuable leads.
  • Creating and proofreading brochures, direct mail and other trade communications.

  • Manage relationships with key retailers and distributors, ensuring alignment on marketing activities and maximizing brand presence online and in-store.

  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to stay ahead of the market and identify new opportunities.

Skills and Experience Required of a Marketing Coordinator:

  • 2 years experience within a Marketing Coordinator role.

  • Strong understanding of trade/customer marketing principles and experience with retail, channel, and shopper marketing.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Proactive and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite, especially Excel/Sheets for reporting and PowerPoint/Slides/Canva for visual storytelling.

  • Degree in marketing, design, business or a related field.
