Mechanical Estimator opportunity available with our client, a Gloucester-based leading manufacturer within the HVAC industry, who are offering a salary of between 30k and 40k, a number of benefits including 30 days holiday, company pension, and significant opportunities for career progression within the mechanical sector.
Due to expansion, the Mechanical Estimator opportunity has become available within their busy sales team who currently quote and tender for projects within the commercial HVAC industry to clients within the educational, infrastructure, commercial, residential, leisure, and utilities sectors.
Our client has been in operation for over 40 years, and currently have a UK-based team of over 150 employees that has successfully turned over 30m+ in the past year.
Mechanical Estimator Job Responsibilities
- Working within the internal sales team based in Gloucester, taking inbound phone calls and emails to support with take-offs and quoting on relevant HVAC projects
- Taking details from customers in order to accurately cost and quote for their requests, including sizing and selecting relevant products
- Working alongside the supply chain team to provide accurate timeframes for quotes
- Liaising with the projects team to support with the process once the tender is completed
Mechanical Estimator Job Requirements
- A background within the mechanical engineering sector is essential for the position
- Experience within the commercial heating, plumbing, and ventilation industries is desirable
- Previous internal sales, administration, or estimating experience within the mechanical engineering sector is desirable
- Based within a commutable distance of Gloucester
Mechanical Estimator Salary & Benefits
- Salary 30,000 - 40,000, negotiable depending on experience
- Monday - Friday, 07:45 - 16:45
- 30 days holiday, including bank holidays
- Clear progression available into a senior estimating position
- On-site parking available
- Company pension provided
