As a Senior Analysis Engineer / Senior Stress Engineer, you will report to the Engineering Group Leader, working on aerospace/aircraft component and system-level engineering analysis solutions within an Integrated Project Team (IPT) to meet agreed timelines for deliverables.Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize FE tools (e.g., ABAQUS) competently
  • Perform classical static stress and fatigue analysis
  • Interface with Chief Engineers, Programmes, Test Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.
  • Participate in audit reviews and present information as requested
  • Engage in product validation
  • Liaise with external suppliers, customers, airframers, regulatory bodies, and other industrial organisations
  • Identify analysis solutions and recommend improvements or alternative methods
  • Review drawings, designs, concessions, and repairs
  • Comply with industry standards, regulations, and qualification requirements
  • Occasional travel may be required

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum HNC/Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline
  • Good working knowledge of aerospace design and manufacturing processes for mechanical systems
  • Understanding of different engineering functions
  • Experience with recognised FEA and fatigue software tools
  • Experience with Nastran, Patran, Hand Calcs etc
  • Proficiency in static and fatigue structural analysis methods
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience with aerospace materials engineering properties
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements
  • Experience in an IPT environment
  • Strong communication skills
