Responsibilities:As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in the following:

  • Assemble and test capital equipment based on technical drawings.
  • Modify parts and assemblies using various hand and power tools.
  • Set up and test the full range of Battery Assembly equipment.
  • Commission and install machinery in customer facilities worldwide.
  • Provide training to operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Write reports and recommend improvements post-visit.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Design teams.
  • Travel extensively, including weekends, to meet customer needs.
  • Uphold company policies and participate in improvement projects.

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship completion.
  • ONC or HNC in Engineering is an advantage.
  • Proven track record in machine assembly and fault diagnosis.
  • Proficient with measuring equipment like micrometres and vernier callipers.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and pneumatic drawings.
  • Understanding of electrical control circuits and PLC machine controls.
  • Strong report writing skills with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally.

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Additional certifications in relevant engineering fields.
  • Familiarity with international travel and flexible working hours.
