Job Title: Service Technician
Location: Gloucester
Contract Details: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £42,000 - £45,000

Responsibilities:As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in the following:
- Assemble and test capital equipment based on technical drawings.
- Modify parts and assemblies using various hand and power tools.
- Set up and test the full range of Battery Assembly equipment.
- Commission and install machinery in customer facilities worldwide.
- Provide training to operators and maintenance personnel.
- Write reports and recommend improvements post-visit.
- Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Design teams.
- Travel extensively, including weekends, to meet customer needs.
- Uphold company policies and participate in improvement projects.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship completion.
- ONC or HNC in Engineering is an advantage.
- Proven track record in machine assembly and fault diagnosis.
- Proficient with measuring equipment like micrometres and vernier callipers.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and pneumatic drawings.
- Understanding of electrical control circuits and PLC machine controls.
- Strong report writing skills with problem-solving capabilities.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
- Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Additional certifications in relevant engineering fields.
- Familiarity with international travel and flexible working hours.
