About the Role:
We are seeking an Occupational Health & Wellbeing Advisor to support the delivery of key occupational health services to employees across Gloucestershire. Our workforce operates in diverse settings, including traded services, core council services such as education, Fire and Rescue, and Adult and Children’s Social Care.
As a senior practitioner within our close-knit and supportive team, you will report to the Clinical Team Manager and work closely with our Case Managers to ensure the health and wellbeing of our employees. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our new Health and Wellbeing Strategy, which highlights our commitment to promoting and protecting workforce health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide referral advice, new starter health clearance, and health screening medicals (including driver and safetycritical medicals).
-  Lead health promotion initiatives and wellbeing activities aligned with the council’s strategy.
- Support employees across various council services, ensuring a proactive approach to occupational health.
- Work within a flexible, hybrid working model, blending onsite and remote work.

- A qualified Occupational Health Practitioner with experience in delivering a full range of occupational health services.
