Are you a passionate Primary Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in a GOOD Ofsted-rated school? We are recruiting for a dedicated Primary Teacher to join a thriving Primary School in Gloucester. This is a maternity cover contract until the end of the academic year, working with a Year 1 class.
Job Role:
-
Full Class Teacher responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessment.

Delivering the National Curriculum to a Key Stage 1 (KS1) class.

Ensuring excellent behaviour management and fostering a positive learning environment.
-
Collaborating with colleagues and support staff to enhance student learning.
-
Engaging with parents and carers to support student progress.
-
Attending staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
-
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2).

Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.

Proven ability to implement excellent behaviour management strategies.
-
Previous experience as a Primary Teacher or Class Teacher.

This Primary Teacher position is based in Gloucester, easily commutable from Longlevens, Hucclecote, Abbeymead, Quedgeley, Tuffley, Barnwood, and Brockworth. The Primary School has excellent transport links and offers onsite parking.
