We are seeking an experienced Construction Planner to join a tier 1 contractor for a high-profile 259m contract to build a cutting-edge Defence Facility. This project requires a skilled individual with experience in Asta Powerproject, NEC or JCT contracts, and the ability to work on-site five days a week. The successful candidate must also be eligible for Security Clearance (SC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Asta Powerproject software.
- Plan and coordinate construction activities, ensuring alignment with the project timeline and objectives.
- Work closely with the project management team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with NEC or JCT contract terms throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential risks and delays.
- Attend site meetings and collaborate with construction teams on-site, five days a week.
- Contribute to the preparation of progress reports, project forecasts, and time management plans.
- Manage project documentation and ensure accuracy and consistency in scheduling information.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience as a Construction Planner with extensive use of Asta Powerproject.
- In-depth understanding and experience with NEC or JCT contracts.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects (ideally in the defence sector).
- SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain it.
- Ability to attend the site five days a week.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

- Previous experience working on defence-related projects.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
