Job Description

Main Purpose of the Role: - Deliver an engaging, broad, and differentiated curriculum, supporting a designated area as needed. - Monitor and enhance student progress, fostering both personal and academic growth. - Maintain high expectations for behavior and academic performance. - Continuously reflect and improve on teaching practices, embracing constructive feedback. - Engage actively in the school’s dynamic and evolving educational environment.

Duties and Responsibilities: - Teach Music up to Key Stage 4, playing a pivotal role in the department. - Collaborate on lesson planning to ensure outstanding student progress. - Participate in departmental meetings, revision sessions, and extracurricular activities. - Uphold the school’s teaching and assessment principles. - Engage in professional development and feedback opportunities within the school network. - Promote high literacy levels and lead a group in the Tutor Time Reading Programme. - Support the school’s safeguarding policies and contribute to a safe educational environment.
