Job Ref - 52420
I am working closely with my LPA client as they recruit for an experienced Conservation Officer on an initial 3-month contract.
In this contract, you will need to be able to review and provide internal comments to the local planning authority on householder, minor and major scheme planning applications. A deep and solid experience of the planning process is vital along with experience in dealing with the implications of development and other proposals for change on listed buildings. Good knowledge of the case law on this subject is important.
The role is remote-based, with office presence preferred on a weekly basis but the LPA are relaxed and able to reduce this for candidates who live further away but possess right experience levels.
Pay rate on offer is between £40-£48p/h (umbrella) - Dependant on experience.
Interviews are due to take place imminently, if this post is of interest, please do get in touch at your earliest convenience to discuss. Further details are available upon request.
It would aid your application is you are a qualified Town Planner and you must have previous Town Planning experience to be considered.
Please call Ben Rose on (phone number removed) for a confidential discussion on this role, or email myself or our planning team if you are short of time to chat:
