Primary supply teachers required

Are you looking to take a step away from a full time post? Feeling a bit burnt out by full time teaching? Or perhaps you are an ECT looking to see whats out there before commiting to your first teaching role?

Consider teaching via Zen Educate and get the most out of what supply teaching can do via a platform that works by reducing the amount of phone calls traditionally needed to keep busy.

We are currrently looking for primary teachers that are happy to do supply on either a full time or part time basis around Gloucester and the wider area. Working hours are 8:30-4 between Monday to Friday and term time only. As a primary supply teacher, lessons are usually planned for but marking is expected as part of your teaching day. Whilst ideally car drivers are beneficial given travel aspect in the work, this is not essential and we would happily help teachers with work that are on public transport.

As a supply teacher you will need to be flexible to the needs of the school, have a strong foundation in behaviour management and be able to keep children engaged in their learning objectives. We are also looking for people that see the value support staff can offer when working supply, especially when getting to grips with what students to look out for either on behaviours, or any learning considerations to take note of.

To teach on supply you will need to have UK QTS and hold an enhanced DBS on the update service; should you not have one currently you can apply for one on application.

Zen can offer competitive pay, free online CPD, a platform that truly works to make supply as easy as possible and as an incentive to work with us, the more supply work you take on from Zen the more you can earn pay during the school holidays which traditionally on supply are unpaid.
