Thrive Group are recruiting for Class 2 Refuse Drivers on behalf of our client based in Gloucester. This role will be on an ongoing temporary basis with the opportunity for temp to perm.
Pay: 16.58 per hour
37 hours paid per week
Hours: Monday to Friday 06:45 - 15:00
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- To drive the waste and recycling vehicles in a safe manner, following a-planned route (this will involve lots of careful driving and reversing)
- Undertake daily checks of the vehicle
- Assist with vehicle loading as and when required
- Ensuring the vehicle remains compliant with transport legislation
Skills & Qualifications:
- LGV licence (Class 2 licence)
- Full clean driving licence
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Knowledge of transport operations
- Prepared to work outdoors in all conditions
- Flexible to working hours
- Be fit and able to lift heavy objects
