We are looking for a Specialist KS1 Teacher to join our dedicated team at a welcoming primary school in Yate (Sep 2025 start). Our school supports KS1 pupils with SEMH needs, Autism, ADHD, and other additional needs, and we are looking for a compassionate and skilled teacher to help them thrive.
At our school, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to develop a love for learning in a supportive and nurturing environment. We are seeking a motivated and caring KS1 Teacher who can create engaging lessons tailored to each child's needs, helping them build confidence and achieve their full potential.
Your Role as a Specialist KS1 Teacher in Yate:-
Teaching and supporting a small group of KS1 pupils

Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons

Tracking progress and working towards EHCP targets

Encouraging and inspiring pupils by linking learning to their interests

Working closely with Teaching Assistants to provide tailored support

A Qualified Teacher (newly qualified or experienced)

Someone who is patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs

A strong communicator who can work effectively with pupils, staff, and families
