The RoleYou will be working in the ASD resource base, supporting students work towards individual developmental targets. Some of the work will be one-to-one and some will be with small groups. You will mentor some less experienced TAs and support their professional development using a coaching approach. Main Responsibilities
- Work under the guidance of the resource base lead teacher
- Provide highly effective support for students
- Assist with planning and resourcing
- Model effective teaching techniques
- Provide support and guidance to support staff professional development
Essential Criteria/Skills
- HLTA qualification
- Very good level of spoken and written English
- Access to a car and valid driving license
- Ability to work in a team
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience working with children who have SEND/SEMH needs
- SEND qualification
- Mentoring/Coaching experience
