Academics Ltd are currently recruiting a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a friendly mainstream primary school in Gloucester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting children's learning and development across Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2. You will be playing a key role in helping children thrive and reach their full potential during their important early years of education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to students.
  • Provide tailored support to children with additional needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
  • Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment that promotes growth and development.
  • Assist students individually or in small groups, offering additional support where needed.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a focused and respectful learning atmosphere.

What are Academics Ltd looking for?

  • A passion for education and working with young learners.
  • Previous experience as a teaching assistant (desirable but not essential).
  • The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
