What You Will Do
- Engage in mechanical design and development of special purpose machinery for the battery industry.
- Drive new product development from concept to delivery, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
- Lead and support design reviews, prototype testing, and risk assessments.
- Generate detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Collaborate closely with operations, manufacturing, and production engineers to streamline product development.
- Assist in onsite customer installation and testing of first-off products as required.
What You Will Bring
- An Engineering degree or relevant apprenticeship.
- Experience in a design engineering role within a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, paired with strong drawing and geometrical tolerancing skills.
- Proven ability to solve problems effectively and manage tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude, coupled with self-motivation and enthusiasm.
