Associate Director   Cheltenham         £70k plus benefits

The Associate Director will take responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, often with respect to large and complex projects. The role involves supporting the Managing Director in achieving service excellence and positive outcomes for clients, demonstrating high levels of technical capability, sound commercial knowledge, and a good understanding of the key drivers of cost and value. The successful candidate will have opportunities for career progression and national travel, while gaining cross-sector experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Business Development:

Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and market expansion.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential partnerships and collaborations.

Lead and participate in business development activities

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and capabilities.

Demonstrate the ability to take a leadership role as part of personal development planning.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

Oversee the financial performance of projects, ensuring they are delivered within budget and meet profitability targets.

Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.

Cost Planning:

Provide advice on procurement strategy.

Scrutinise and verify applications for interim payments.

The Candidate:

Holder of a Full clean UK Drivers Licence.

Educated to Degree level, or equivalent experience.

MRICS/MCIOB qualified.

Demonstrable experience in delivering medium to large projects (£5m to £50m+), ideally with experience in Hotel and Leisure clients.

Excellent pre and post contract technical cost and commercial management skills.
