This strategic role oversees child protection chairs, independent reviewing services, a thriving social work academy, a developing quality assurance framework, and an outstanding participation team.

This is a critical strategic post that focuses on continuously improving social care practice. The successful candidate will oversee our child protection chairs and independent reviewing service, our impressive social work academy, a comprehensive and developing quality assurance approach, our outstanding participation team, and the GSCP business unit. You will be a part of a highly supportive and collaborative senior leadership team, and a fantastic team of well-established service managers within the Quality Assurance remit. 

Reporting to the Service Director, you’ll drive high-quality, relational practice and systemic approaches, ensuring the best outcomes for vulnerable children and young people. Key responsibilities include implementing a rigorous quality assurance framework to monitor and enhance performance.
