Quality Inspector required for Gloucester (GL2) based manufacturing company. Working 36 hours Monday - Thursday paying up to £35k

Our client is a well-respected manufacturing company with a long-standing history in the Gloucester area and a diverse range of clients ranging from Gas & Oil, Green Energy, Nuclear, Defence and Pharmaceutical.

This is a great opportunity for someone that is looking to become a Quality Engineer.

The role of Quality Inspector will involve, but is not restricted to the following duties:

  • First off and final inspection of manufactured parts
  • Review completed supplier generated FAI's
  • Completion of internal quality audits to ISO 9001:2015
  • Uploading quality certification to ERP system
  • Help create work instructions and SOP's
  • Support internal root cause analysis

The successful Quality Inspector will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Experience gained within a mechanical engineering background
  • Experience working within a ISO9001:2015 certified organisation
  • Ability to read and interrogate engineering drawings
  • Experience of working with conventional inspection equipment
  • Ability to work with both imperial and metric measurements
